Enrich-a-Pit is The Proper Pit Bull's community outreach enrichment program that offers ideas and enrichment items to local shelters. Enrichment helps provide environmental stimuli needed by dogs in a kennel environment to help keep them both physically and emotionally healthy. This will benefit both dogs and shelter staff by decreasing the stress levels of the dogs, they will be more relaxed and make a better impression on potential adopters and possibly decreasing their length of stay.
